Overview

If you've reached a full agreement on the terms of your divorce or custody agreement, the next step is filing the necessary documentation with the Utah State Courts. This process is called "final documents and filing."

The process involves preparing the Petition, Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law, the proposed Decree of Divorce or Decree of Parentage, and all of the other required accompanying documents.

Cost

Our firm can manage the entire process from start to finish. We charge a flat fee of $1,000. The Court's also require a mandatory filing fee of $333. For convenience, we can receive this payment from you and pay it to the Courts on your behalf as part of the filing process.

For Mediators

If you are a Utah-based mediator who is not a licensed attorney, we can provide this service to your clients using the same fee schedule described above.

If your clients also need assistance drafting the Stipulation, we can provide drafting services for an hourly fee.
